SAJWC is a part of The General Federation of Women's Clubs-GFWC, one of the world's oldest and largest women's volunteer service organizations, dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. With more than 100,000 members in affiliated clubs in every state and more than a dozen countries, GFWC members work in their own communities to support the arts, preserve natural resources, advance education, promote healthy lifestyles, encourage civic involvement, and work toward world peace and understanding

 

We are a part of a group of women, aged 18 and older, working together to strengthen our community through a variety of philanthropic activities. Our members represent the diversity of our area – parents, non-parents, professionals, homemakers, married and single. What unites us is a common bond of community and the desire to make Staunton and Augusta County the best they can be.
